Friday June 11th the homeschool group I belong to organized a field day. Many mom's and dad's got together to create a fun day for all. There were many games available like:
Tug of War
Sack Race
Ring Toss
Relay Races
Wiffle Ball
Bowling
It was nice to see some old familiar faces and......
(The girls all found a four leafed clover)
meet some new friends. I look forward to next year!
I love to record to small happenings of our life to look back on years from now and see how God leads us and loves us.

Our Vacation-Day 1
We started out on our road trip Sunday June 13th by getting on the road by 8:10 which wasn't bad seeing my goal was 8am. The kids had enough movies and DS games to last them the 10 hours it was going to take us to get down to Virginia.
As we were on the Jersey Turnpike, Eric suddenly got excited when he kept seeing all these sports cars around him. "Baby there is an Aston Martin Vanquish...Oh look at that sweet Lamborghini" He told me we were surrounded by several million dollars worth of cars, probably on their way to a car show. I know nothing about expensive cars and they do nothing for me. In my opinion it is foolish to spend $600,000 on a vehicle, unless of course it can fly too. I did manage to dig out my camera in time two get a pic of two of them before they exited the freeway.
We stopped to get gas and use the bathroom around 10:45am, and again to have lunch and use the bathroom around 1:30pm. We ended up getting to my dad's just before 6pm and set up in our 'home' for the next 5 days.

Parker's Birthday Bashes
Tuesday June 22nd we celebrated Parker's 8th birthday. We have a tradition in our home that the birthday person can choose their meals that day but only be allowed to eat out once. So Parker chose crapes for breakfast and then opened the gift from his father and me.
His old amplifier had bit the dust a couple of weeks before his birthday so we knew exactly what to get him. This one has a built in tuner which was exactly what he needed. He wasted no time in trying it out :)
After getting a few things done around the house, we all went out so Kaleigh and Blake could get him a present with their own money. They hadn't gotten around to it seeing we had just gotten home from vacation the night before.
Blake ended up getting him a package of Silly Bands and Kaleigh got him a new Webkinz.
Since we were out, Parker decided he wanted Chinese for lunch, so we scooped up Mem-Mem and took her with us to celebrate. She gave him some cash for his quad, along with a Red Sox hat, shirt, and shorts. Go Sox!
We ended the night with a can of Campbell's chicken noodle soup and Daddy's softball game. It was a good day.
But wait the fun isn't over......
He had a Wii party/sleepover on the following Friday night with his brother and two of his guy pals, Nick and Mitchell. They swam, ate, opened presents, and played wii......
ate some cake.......
and played more Wii.
Other than the fact that they didn't fall asleep till 10pm and were up at 6:30am, it was a very low-key and easy party, and I liked it that way!

Project 365- Week 24
The making of project 365 will be suspended till July. Stay in tune for all the exiting events that have taken place in the meantime.
Project 365-Week 23
This week is going to be short and sweet because I left my camera at the farm for most of the week.
Friday June 4th we were supposed to have our annual Olympian campout, but it got the sleepover part got canceled due to the fact that we were supposed to have severe thunderstorms overnight. The kids were bummed, can't say the grownups were.
Saturday June 5th we attended the 40th birthday party for one of my best friends.
Sunday June 6th is pretty much church and relaxing.
Monday June 7th I realized that I do not have a single picture of me playing softball, so I gave the camera over to my son before the game and told him to take some pictures of the game. He spent most of the time taking video of the ground, so this is all I got.
Tuesday June 8th I took the van in to get an oil change, get the tires rotated and balanced and make sure everything was in tip top shape for our road trip.
Wednesday June 9th Kaleigh had a lesson and is up to cantering now!
Thursday June 10th I got back on the horse, literally!

Project 365- Week 22
Friday May 28th
It had been over a year since my kids had been to the dentist. I was relieved to hear no one had any cavities! YAY! We do, however, need to make a appointment for Kaleigh to see an orthodontist.
Saturday May 29th
Kaleigh walked in the Memorial Day parade with her 4-H group The Mane Eventers
Sunday May 30th
My mom's pool is open and everyone thoroughly enjoyed swimming after church.
Monday May 31st
We said goodbye to the our dear friends from PA, who had spent the weekend in our home.
Tuesday June 1st
We went to the farm to help the Salley's get the hay put away before the rain moved in.
Wednesday June 2nd
We went to the park after my softball game was over.
Thursday June 3rd
As I was folding the laundry, I looked at this and thought..."Maybe it is time for some new dish rags" Then I thought..... "nah..it still gets the job done". What do you think?
