The blizzard started by Kaleigh taking on another pet sitting job. This time, for couple that both work for a town or state and would be putting in many hours plowing. Clyde and Blake became instant friends.
By Friday night, around 7pm, we had gotten almost a foot of snow, so I went out to shovel while Eric went out to plow. Unfortunately, it was not just our own property that we had to take care of. My mom and her husband had gone to Jamaica on vacation, so we had to take care of her property, as well as the widow across the street and our multi-family in Willimantic.
On Saturday morning, we woke up to snow fall totals of around 30 inches and began replowing and reshoveling all that we had done the night before.
We heard that on Sunday night, we would be getting rain. This would make the snow even heavier and could cause collapsing of decks and roofs.......so we got to work once again. We shoveled 4 decks, two roofs and my mom's pool.
It is very safe to say that if we get anymore snow this year, I just might cry!
