June 2013- Part 1

Saturday June 1st Kaleigh took Bucky to his FIRST show.  They didn't do too bad.  She took a third, fourth and fifth out of five riders in her division.

Sunday June 2nd Kaleigh and I did out very FIRST hunter pace.  It was so much fun.  Kaleigh took first place on my friend's horse, Dotty and I took second on Bucky.  West Greenwich Horseman's Club is a great group to be involved with.

Tuesday June 4th the wood for my barn arrived.  Thanks Dad and Eric for all your hard work!
Wednesday June 5th we headed out for a hike in the beautiful weather.

Sunday June 9th Kaleigh had her first Tri-State show.  Bucky was so bored as you can tell.  LOL! Unfortunately, Bucky kept breaking his trot so they did not place.

When I went to download my pictures there were a lot of very cool shots that I assumed Kaleigh took, being she likes the whole photography thing.  I was very shocked to learn that it was Blake.  This 9 year old has some great vision, I think!  These were taken on 6/10 and 6/11.

Wednesday June 12th.  Kaleigh decided to do a kitten cam today.  They are so cute it's almost unbearable.

Thursday June 13th.  Poor thing has a tumor growing on his eyelid.  Dr. gave us some meds to try but it's not doing much.

May 2013-Part 2

May 15th-  Kaleigh decided it was time to shine up her tack for an upcoming show.

May 17th- Eric planned a surprise beach ride and lunch with friends of ours for Mother's Day.

Also this was the day of Parker's first school dance.  They were having a superhero theme.  He chose to dress up like Captain America.  We prayed over the situation, not completely comfortable with him going.  God answered our prayers.  About an hour and a half after the dance started, he texted us to come pick him up.  Short version of the story is that his friends were pressuring him to do something  he was not comfortable with and they would not take no for an answer so he called us and came home.  He says he does not care to go to anymore school dances.  Pheww!!!!

May 19th- We headed to RI to visit with Eric's grandparents and uncles and cousins.
Blake caught a nice sized trout with this huge red rubber worm.
                                Three on three volleyball

May 22nd-  Think this is my hint that the boys want watermelon?

May 26th- Blake got baptized!!

May27th- Groundbreaking day for my barn construction!!!!

May 28th-  These kittens just keep getting cuter by the day.

May 30th- Field day at school.  Any game that gets you wet is fun in their eyes.

The kids took turns trying to dunk the principal in the dunking booth.
