August 2013

August 5th-  Beach day with the Andersons.  Everyone was called out of the water because there was a shark!

August 6th- Working as a family to get that wood stacked

August 10th- Kaleigh is pet sitting again.  It was the boys turn to sleep with Tucker.

August 13th-  Trying to sell our grill....any takers?

August 16th-  Tigers game with the boys.  The boys brought some money to go on the zip line and the inflatable slide.  The bat boy is my cousins son!  After the game we enjoyed the Friday night fireworks.

August  18th-  Last Tri-State and Kaleigh placed 8th out of 11 riders in Western Pleasure.   She was sooo excited.  This was certainly a major accomplishment for her and Bucky.  And the best part for her was that her BFF Emily was there to cheer her on.

August 27th-  Boys are selling some of their nerf guns.  They took pictures for Daddy to put  on craigslist.  The goal is to get enough $ to buy an xbox.

August 28th- FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!!  Our homeschooling journey has come to an end.  Praying that they will do well and stay on the path of following God!

End of July

July 27th We brought Bucky here for the day.  I looked out the window to see this cowgirl on the back of her horse in her bathing suit and boots!

July 28th My grandmother was getting more and more incoherent throughout the day so around 8pm I decided to take her into the ER.  By 1AM, after running a number of tests, they declared her sodium levels were off due to slight dehydration.  Who knew that could knock you off your rocker.  Glad to report, she is back on...rocking away!

July 29th Took Kaleigh to the eye doctor...guess what she got?

July 30th Blake catching some zzz's with our kitten and the kitten we were kitten sitting for.

July 31st Kaleigh had Natalie and Shannon over for a sleepover.

Muzzy's are Here!

JULY 22-25
One of my children's favorite part of summer is when their cousins come from Ohio.  They actually got here a couple days before we got home from New Hampshire.  Our first day home, we went to the beach with them.

Then all the boys and Kenley enjoyed all their hard work of digging clams.

We also went to RI beaches where the kids enjoyed boogie boarding on HUGE waves.

The Muzzy girls came with Kaleigh and I to see feed the horses.  They got a ride on Bucky too!

The last day they were here it was pouring.  I had Ryan and Chesney that day too.  At first, it was just Crae and Kenley here.  Then there was a knock at the door and 4 more kids appeared.  Before I knew it,  I had 10 kids in my house ages 4-14!  I had to get creative to keep them busy.  I let the bigger boys play a couple rounds of Wii.

While the teen girls just hung on the couch checking out some new App of their iPods.

I brought out the crafts for the littles

And a game of Break the Ice.  I was a hit with the big boys too.

I put the teen girls in charge of making a coffee cake to feed them all.

Some of the kids played air hockey

And some played cornhole in the garage.

Then they all went up and watched a movie while I tried to clean up some of the mess of having 10 kids!  I tell you...I don't know how mothers of large families do it!  I was exhausted!

 The teen girls craft
One of the crafts that I had out...this is Crae's.  I liked his pattern!

   Goodbye Muzzy Clan...until next year!
