We had such a good time with our Halloween party that we decided to do one for Christmas. My BFF Donna and I make such a good team planning these things. I focused on Christmas traditions and how they started and why they started.... to point people to Christ. We read about the tree, lights, and ornaments then we made a foam tree and then an edible tree with sugar cones, green frosting and M&M's.
Donna focused on different countries and the different traditions and customs they have at Christmas time. Then the kids participated in a German custom. They had so much fun with it and now my kids want to do it every year even though we don't have any German in us. I just have to get my hands on a pickle ornament.

Shaun's family has some German. I found a pickle at G&L years ago.
