Olympian Campout

Due to threatening thunderstorms, leaders decided to have the annual camp out inside the church. It worked out beautifully because of the large space of the new fellowship hall. The kids ate a delicious meal of spaghetti and meatballs and wasted no time getting into game mode.

We had some parachute games.

Some Sharks and Minnows games. For all you old folks like me, it is a new variation of tag :)

Some praise and worship...

An entertaining, yet important reminder on the Parable of the Seed.

Then onto more games...
I know there is no way of telling, but this is Parker under here!

Some form of volleyball....

A dress-up relay race....

And of course...the Limbo!

After an evening of no sleep, we packed things up and headed to Hopeville Pond for some swimming and sand castle contests.

Although, entertaining and trying to get 54 children to go to sleep at midnight is draining, it is a blessing to see them all enjoying being together and learning about the Lord.
