Christmas Day

Christmas day usually begins around 7am, as we threaten the children with no presents if they wake us up before that!

The kids start by exchanging the gifts they got for one another and then we move on to the rest.

For Kaleigh, it was a clothing and horse gear year from us.

The boys got lots of sports paraphernalia and lots of Lego sets.

The dogs, of course, got a bone.

I surprised Eric with some boots.

And he surprised me with a case of my favorite wine.

It didn't take long for the boys to get started on building their Lego sets.

Later that morning my mother and Pete came over to open gifts,

My mother spent hours making custom made blankets for the kids.  Parker got a Celtics blanket,

Kaleigh got a horse blanket, and Blake got a NY Yankees blanket that I thought I had taken a picture of, but did not. :(

Later that afternoon, my aunt and uncle came over.  This was my aunt's wrap job....tin foil!

Just as dinner was just about ready, the rest of the gang showed up.
Levi giving Uncle E big hugs!

                                                          Mom and Dad Sharp
Parker spending time with his little cousin Josiah.

Kaleigh worked very hard on making scarfs for all the ladies in the family.

Eric prepared a wonderful meal as always.   He made venison tenderloin with a berry sauce.  Sorry no pic :(  It was a great day of food and fellowship.
