Thursday was our last night of youth group at the church. To end the night, the team that raised the most $ for Little Lambs gets to dunk a leader in the dunking booth. The winning team gets to throw for free. Other people may pay $1.00 for three throws. The kids LOVE it and it raises a lot of money for Little Lambs. This was our second year and we doubled last years figure and raised almost $500 for Little Lambs. About $450 of that was in pennies. I was really proud of Parker and Kaleigh because they took the inititave to raise their own money. Parker bargined with me that he would do extra chores and earn 60 pennies for every extra chore he did. Kaleigh raised some pennies through the World Missions Fair. I think it is important for them to be the ones excited and thinking about it otherwise it's just me giving them money to earn a Christian Service. If they are not the ones making the effort, it does nothing for their heart or their walk with God. I pray they will continue to have a growing desire for God's work.
