Trimming the Tree

When I told the kids we were getting the tree on Sunday, the first thing that Blake said was, "Can Mem-Mem come over and decorate with us?"  Of course my response was "YES!"  At 93, she doesn't get out much, so I look for any reason to get her out of the house.  She came over last year to decorate, but it never occurred to me to ask her again this year.  The memory obviously stayed with Blake and he wanted to make more memories with her this year...and so the tradition begins.  Here are a few pics of our time together.

My favorite ornament that was given to me by my best friend because she knows how much I love the Little Mermaid movie.  (See I have a Santa hat too :)
