I made my annual treck up to New Hampshire for the women's retreat at Camp Berea the last week in September. The theme was 'Remember' and this was our key verse for the weekend.
I got there early for the first time in 7 years and landed a bottom bunk...in fact we had the cabin to ourselves...just me, Deb and Teri.
Our speaker was Sharon Jaynes and she was so real and a wonderful speaker. She talked about her struggle with infertility and the death of a child that they has struggled to conceive. She talked about her difficult life as a child and the salvation of her parents after sooo many years of prayer. She was unplifting and encouraging. I signed up for her online devotional and am LOVING it.
The thing I love about Berea is that there is time for fun and the forming of new friendships. I was able to meet my girlfriend from Maine there. We met several years ago at Berea and keep in touch. It was great to see her and spend some time with her. In fact, the first night we stayed up till almost 1 a.m. just catching up and telling funny stories. Here are a few shot of some of my favorite people and things from the weekend.
WORSHIP TIME

Of course the foliage, although not at its peak yet, was breathtaking.
I would recommend this weekend to every women out there. It is my life line, a much needed time to rejuvinate and spend some time on the Lord.
