After being tired all weekend, Blake started coughing like a seal on Sunday night and woke up with a low grade fever. Croup again, I thought. Parker had gotten it at the tail end of our vacation several weeks ago. Not a major deal.
Well, by Tuesday afternoon, Blake was audibily wheezing and complaining that he couldn't breath. The fever that was once low-grade was back and blazing hot. So at 2pm I called the doctor to see what he thought. In the back of my mind was the thought of pnemonia. The doctor finally called me back at 7:30pm and advised that I bring him to the E.R. So I did.
At the E.R. they took us right in and did a chest x-ray and gave Blake a breathing treatment. His wheezing stopped immediately and so did his coughing.
The doctor looked at his x-ray and saw no pnemonia but did see signs of asthma. I asked a million questions and am hoping and praying that she is right with her take on the situation. She thinks that this upper respitory virus has brought the asmtha on and that once he is over this virus, the asthma will go away.
Until then, we have this nifty inhaler for when he can't breathe again.
I love to record to small happenings of our life to look back on years from now and see how God leads us and loves us.

Project 365-Week 12
Saturday March 19th
Spent two hours at baseball tryouts
and then went to a 30th birthday party...oh to be 30 again!
Sunday March 20th
Went to the bridal shower of one of my good friends.
Monday March 21st
Not what I had in mind for the first full day of SPRING!
Tuesday March 22nd
I got into the shower and came upon this terrible tragedy...looks like the good guys won because Skywalker and Mace Windu still have their heads attached.
Wednesday March 23rd
I walked by the boys room to hear Blake talking to the ferret about something that was outside. It was a precious moment and I was glad my camera was only inches away so that I was able to sneak up on him and take this.
Thursday March 24th
This is what my kids love to do when Ryan comes over. They pile all the couch cushions on the living room floor and jump on them.
Friday March 25th
Was at church till almost 11pm with my hubby as he brought in a professional to help him with the sound system at church. I thought this was cute as everyone was standing around this guy in 'awe' of his abilities as a sound engineer.
I must give a shout out to my hubby because no one really knows the amount of hours he has spent learning and programming this board, except me when I'm still up at midnight waiting for him to get home from the church! Thank you honey for your time and dedication to the Lord.

Project 365- Week 11
Saturday February 12
Parker had been asked at the end of basketball season, to play in the All-Stars. We were going to be away for most of the practices and games, so I was surprised when coach called and asked if he could play when we got back from vacation. One of the mom's went out and got special shirts with their name and number on the back. Parker thought THAT was cool in itself.
Sunday February 13th
A young women I have the privilege of knowing is heading off to Hungary to become a missionary intern. She will be teaching English as a Second language through the Bible and working with orphans. It was a pleasure to be at her going away party and we will be praying for her daily. Keep on following God Katie, and he will bless you beyond your imagination!
Monday March 14th
The kids took a break from school to go downstairs and get a snack..they were so sweet, and brought me this!
Tuesday March 15th
The boys are very excited about baseball tryouts coming up and have been outside every spare moment, practicing.
Wednesday March 16th
The dog got sprayed by a skunk. Here Eric is trying to get some of the oil off while not throwing up.
Thursday March 17th
My closet in the mudroom is coming along little by little.
Friday March 18th
More baseball

Our last day of vacation
Can you believe I did not take a single picture. It was a rainy day and we spent in cuddled up in front of two movies. Then it was time to pack everything up so we could leave by 3pm for the airport.
Here are a few random pics from our day before....
I just had to snap a picture of my dad holding onto his wife's purse for her...he looks too comfortable with it! LOL!
Don't know when Parker took this one...but it came out cute!

Day 9 of Vacation
My Dad and Liz took us to the Strawberry Festival which was about 45 minutes away. The best way to describe it is that it is like a country fair, but with a strawberry theme woven in.
The kids rode some rides....
It blows my mind that my kids are now going on rides that I went on as a teenager. Although it looked awesome, the Zipper was too much for the boys and they almost threw up.
Of course, you can't go to a fair and not try the fair food. I think the most bizarre fair food I had was the chocolate covered bacon.
After we had had enough fair, we decided to enjoy the 85 degree sunny day by heading to the pool at my dad's place.
Eric tried to enjoy the sunny day, but this is what happens.... He breaks out in these bright red lobster hives that itch like mad. This was after about 20 minutes in the sun, unprotected.
Vacation- Day 8
We woke up on Tuesday, ate breakfast, took showers and immediately started to pack things up. It was definitely a challenge to get all five of us packed and out of the condo by 10am. I think, as I did my last sweep, on my way out I glanced at the clock that said 10:07...close right?
We set off to the agency to give back the keys, but before we did, we made one last stop at the gift shop. Kaleigh had her heart set on a Disney photo album and I wanted to get a little something to remember our trip as well. I ended up getting these really cute pair of Mickey Mouse jammies.
After we dropped off the keys, we headed south to my Dad's. He lives in St. Petersburg with his wife Liz. It was about 1 hour and 20 minutes from where we had been staying. As you can see Blake was in need of some sleep...
We ate lunch with them and then he took us all out on the boat.
We had to go slow because of the dolphins and manatees that frequent the area. I sooooo wanted to see some, but unfortunately all I saw were pelicans. They were fun to watch dive down for fish.
On the way back my dad let Kaleigh and Blake take turns driving.

Our vacation Day 7
As I sit and write this it is about 9:30 am. We have been go go go for the past two days and even though this is our last day in Disney, NO ONE wants to go anywhere. The kids are happy laying in bed and watching Disney Channel. I am happy catching up on my blog, and Eric is happy watching Sports Center. We are talking about going to Hollywood Studios later today, seeing Blake and I missed out on Friday. We will see how the day pans out.
Well we did end up going to Hollywood Studios around noon time and seeing all the things Blake and I missed out on, last Friday, while he was sick. It really was to our advantage because Eric and the other two kids could tell us what was worth seeing. Here's what we did...
Saw a Beauty and the Beast Show
Saw a Star Wars Show
Went on the Toy Story Ride
Saw two stunt shows
I have no pictures for Tower of Terror(which was the BEST ride there) but here is Parker(if you can see him) in front of Rockin' Rollercoaster. This guitar looks very much like his, without the whammy bar.
